$TORCH Public Sale is April 18th — Whitelist Announcement

Why Hodl? Hercules has already generated nearly $100,000 in fees, as of April 12th since launching over a month ago. These fees are largely returned to TORCH users and liquidity providers.
How Buy? The TORCH sale begins on the Hercules Launchpad on April 18 with a three-stage Whitelist sale round, followed by a first-come, first-served, and fully public sale round. The raise will be in METIS tokens on the Metis Andromeda network. TORCH will be claimable on April 22 on Hercules in a 66/34 TORCH/xTORCH ratio.
TORCH Sale Information
The TORCH sale is split into two phases: a Whitelist Raise and a fully Public Raise.
Universal mechanics:
- The sale will accept METIS tokens via the Hercules Launchpad.
- Guaranteed allocations are only guaranteed during the associated stage. That is, if a user misses their stage they can still buy up to their max allocation but they are no longer guaranteed to be able to do so.
- Only the Whitelist stages use allocation caps (aka, maximum buy amounts).
- Users with multiple whitelist allocations will be able to purchase the sum total of earned allocations, though they my be across different phases.
- The TORCH public sale is capped at $1 million, in METIS. When the cap is reached, the sale will end.
- TORCH will be available to claim in the ratio 66/34 TORCH/xTORCH, respectively, on the Hercules site on April 22.
- TORCH farms open April 23.

Whitelist Stage 1 begins: April 18, 12 pm UTC, continuing for 12 hours, this round is guaranteed for the first 12 hours only. It comprises allocations from these groups.

Whitelist Stage 2 begins: April 19, 12 am UTC, continuing for 12 hours, first-come, first served. This phase is overallocated and comprises the following WL groups

- Top Zealy participants
Whitelist Stage 3 begins: April 19, 12 pm UTC, continuing for 24 hours, first-come, first served. In this round, users that were whitelisted for the prior two rounds will be eligible to purchase 5x their original allocation. In addition, this phase will add WL allocations for the following:
- all Zealy participants
- all Web3Davinci Users
April 20, 12 pm UTC: Fully public sale begins; first-come, first served.
TORCH: The Value Proposition
- xTORCH, derived from TORCH, is a flexible value-access tool.
- TORCH represents the value of the Hercules protocol and can be converted easily to xTORCH.
- You can allocate your xTORCH to three Hercules plug-ins: Dividends (collected platform fees), Yield Booster, and Launchpad.
- For comparison, Camelot has generated nearly $100,000 in fees per day benefiting holders of its token, in our case TORCH and xTORCH
- TORCH and xTORCH are mutually convertible into one another, but the direction is important. TORCH -> xTORCH is instantaneous while xTORCH -> TORCH vesting time is user-defined with a minimum of 15 days and maximum of 6 months. The shortest period result in half of the TORCH being vested burned. The longest period results in the vested xTORCH fully unlocking and converting 1:1 to TORCH
